B'nai Mitzvah Ad Book Letter/Form


Please join the entire membership of our congregation
for our 13th anniversary weekend events.

During the weekend of May 14-16, Adat Chaverim will be celebrating its B'nai Mitzvah as a congregation and Rabbi Pein will be celebrating her thirteenth year as an ordained Rabbi. This will be a weekend of prayer, study and partying. We hope that all members will take part in one or more events during the weekend.

    Friday, May 14, 7:30 p.m. - Kabbalat Shabbat Service
    • Recognition of the congregation's founding members
    • Dedication of our new Torah
    • Celebration of Rabbi Pein's Rabbinical Bat Mitzvah
    • Dessert Oneg following the service

    Saturday, May 15, 9:00 a.m. - Torah Study
    • Discussion led by congregant David Guravich
    • Parsha Bamidbar - Numbers 1.1 - 4.20
    • Bagel and Lox Nosh

    Saturday, May 15, 10:30 a.m. - Shabbat Morning Service
    • Student Cantor Julia Rubin-Cadrain's final Shabbat with us
    • Morning worship as a congregation
    • Kiddush Luncheon following the service

    Saturday, May 15, 7:00 p.m. - Havdalah & Dinner Gala (party attire)
    • Cost is $30 per Adult, $10 per Child under 13 - Purchase Tickets Online
    • Catered dinner buffet with beer and wine
    • Music and dancing with professional DJ
    • Childcare at Infinite Bounds (up to age 10)*
    • Planned youth activities (age 11 and up)

    Sunday, May 16, 10:00 a.m. (New Time) - Religious School Picnic
    • Celebrate the last day of school
    • Fun family activities in the park
    • Picnic lunch with the teachers

    Sunday, May 16, 7:00 p.m. - Dallas Fort Worth Cantorial Concert
    • Student Cantor Julia Rubin-Cadrain will be performing
    • Several area Cantors will be performing
    • Performance held at Temple Shalom
    • Carpools available
