We invite you to become a member of the "community of friends" that is Adat Chaverim. You'll find many of the questions you may have about joining our congregation answered here. If you would like to learn more, please use the membership inquiry form below. A representative of our Membership Committee will contact you promptly.

Who may become a member of Adat Chaverim?

A member may be either an individual or a family.

An individual member must be either:

  • Jewish,
  • the surviving or former spouse of a Jewish person and be raising children in the Jewish religion, or
  • in the process of converting to Judaism.

A "family" is one adult or two legally married adults and their dependent children, if any. At least one of the adults in the family must be Jewish.

Application

To apply for membership in Adat Chaverim, please fill out the membership information request form. Be sure to note in the comments that you would like to receive an application. We'll send one to you right away. Or, visit us any Friday evening for Shabbat services, and let any of our members know that you're considering membership.

How can I find out more about membership?

May I Visit?

Yes! Guests are always welcome to visit our Friday evening Shabbat services, or Saturday morning Torah study. Just drop in; you do not need to arrange your visit in advance. Be sure to let an usher know that you are a visitor, so that he can introduce you to some of our other congregants.

An orientation visit to the Religious School can also be arranged by appointment. Contact the school Director for details.

Please see the congregation calendar for specific dates and times for services, classes and other events.
